I'm Mari,
Freediver by Nature.
I am a Freediving Instructor and Coach based in the stunning Riviera Maya, Mexico. Originally from Italy, my journey took me through the UK and Australia before I found my true home here, where I’ve been teaching and exploring for the past 15 years.

I am a Freediving Instructor and Coach based in the stunning Riviera Maya, Mexico. Originally from Italy, my journey took me through the UK and Australia before I found my true home here, where I’ve been teaching and exploring for the past 15 years.
With a background as a Scuba Instructor and Underwater Photographer, I now teach Molchanovs Freediving Courses, guiding students through the ocean, cenotes, and the breathtaking nature of this region.

Beyond freediving, I’m a certified Yoga Teacher and a professional Underwater Photographer, capturing the serenity and wonder of the underwater world. I also participate in freediving competitions as a safety diver and official photographer and lead wildlife expeditions.
I’ve always been on a quest—searching, discovering, and embracing the unknown. Curiosity has been my lifelong companion, drawing me to water, where depth and potential meet.
